May 1 - 29 -- Aikido for Health (Training with out falling), Tues 7-8:30pm, $50
Aikido for Health offers methods of stress reduction, relaxation, anger management and self defense along with the philosophical and tenets of centering that belong to the traditional art of Aikido. Become more limber and stronger, learn how to be more balanced when you're standing, walking, or being challenged by others. New students are welcome to join this class as well; a good place to begin for those who are hesitant about falling. Open to the public. May 5 - 26 - SAT morning Yoga classes 9-10am $12 per class or series fees available

May 6 - Intro to Zen Calligraphy 4-5:30pm $20
Led by Susan Perry (Shodo blackbelt), Zen calligraphy is a mind/body practice that brings focus on mindfulness and the quieting of the self. It is known for the practice of making a stroke with one breath, a very liberating way of approaching brushwork. In this class, ou learn how to relax, sit with good posture, breathe and enjoy ink, paper, brush. Class is held at Musubi Dojo, 4650 Arrow Hwy D-6, Montclair. May 27- Mountain Misogi - FREE
Join us for a trip up to Mt Baldy to clean up the forest. Bring gloves, sturdy shoes with socks, hat, water and snack. It is a wonderful way to spend a day in the mountains and it helps us prepare for our summer camp in June. Carpools will leave from Musubi Dojo at 2pm. For more information, call (909) 624-7770.
